(MENAFN - Arab Times) The government must respect the peoples' right to express opinion in a peaceful manner, reports Al-Anba daily quoting civil society organizations.
They urged the government and the majority bloc must embrace dialogue to end political conflict, while finding ways to work for the good of the homeland and democracy in the coming period.
Meanwhile, former MP Mohammed Hayef met HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the eve of Eid Al-Adha to clarify the dimension of the crisis after coordinating with the Justice Bloc, and he hopes the current political situation will surmount soon, the daily added.
In the same context, the Democratic Platform condemned the act by a demonstrator who run over the securitymen and one media personnel in last Wednesday's rally.
The platform has also addressed the organizers of Nov 4 rally to cancel or suspend the event to reduce tension for the country's welfare.
For his part, member of the nullified 2012 parliament Dr Khalid Shakheer disclosed the phase of civil disobedience and sit-ins will resume after the rally dubbed "Maserat Watan II" or "Journey of Homeland II", reports Al-Rai daily.
He said the political blocs refusing amendments to the voting system have designated several phases to protest the step which they say overlooks the desires of the nation, indicating the majority bloc supports civil disobedience.
He reiterated any step to defuse tension arising from the current crisis should begin by withdrawing the decree amending the system of voting that reduces the number of votes to one instead of four.
