Metals of Africa on African hunt

(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Metals of Africa (ASX:MTA) has broken ground at its Rio Mazoe Base Metals project in the Tete Province in Mozambique. MTA listed on the ASX last month via an IPO after raising $3 million. It has now engaged Remote Drilling Services to undertake maiden drilling program with a rig already on site. The program includes an initial 3000 metres of NQ diamond drilling along the Meque and Cocodeza prospect. The drill sites have displayed anomalous base metals mineralisation and are viewed as possible Broken Hill type deposits. The drilling program is expected to take until end of January 2013 and will test numerous anomalies at both the prospects.
