A spokesperson for CMF has confirmed that Omani personnel had been among those taking part in the workshop. In a statement, Commander Hans Kuhfahl, event organiser and member of the German Navy, said that the event was a success. He said the skills learned would prove to be invaluable for those who chose to participate. ''There was good output for all concerned with a high standard of training, delivered with the support of the USCG and Royal Marines.''It will prove invaluable over the coming months when the participants put their new-found skills into practice out at sea.''The three-day workshop saw participants undertake a day of theoretical training, which included briefings by the US National Criminal Investigation Service, before beginning practical tests on days two and three.
