Le Roy's Congo team to camp in Oman 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Democratic Republic of Congo's football team, under former Oman coach Claude Le Roy, is expected to hold a training camp in Muscat from January 3-15 next year.The team is preparing for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held from January 19 to February 10 in South Africa.The Leopards, as the Congolese are nicknamed, may also play a few friendly games against top clubs in Muscat during the camp.DR Congo will open its campaign in next year's flagship African tournament in Group B against Ghana on January 20 before facing Niger four days later, both at Port Elizabeth.Le Roy, who steered Ghana to bronze at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, is hoping to guide the Leopards to an impressive spell in the 2013 edition.
