Samsung's sales of Galaxy Note 2 exceed 3m


(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics announced that sales of its Galaxy Note 2 exceeded 3 million units worldwide since it was first launched in late September, reported Xinhua News. The South Korean firm said that sales growth of the device was faster by more than 3 times from that of the Galaxy Note, the company's previous model. The new device, called phablet or a hybrid of smartphone and tablet PC, is powered by 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of Android operating system, featuring a 1.6 GHz Quad-Core processor. It is worth noting that the Galaxy Note 2 features a 5-5-inche HD Super AMOLED display, the biggest in smartphone market.
