Luxury mobile phone pioneer Givori has raised much-needed awareness and AED 70,000 for people affected by breast-cancer after auctioning a one-of-a-kind smartphone at an event organized by Pink Caravan, a unique organization that engages and unifies all UAE breast cancer-related NGOs.

Accounting for 28% of all cancers detected worldwide, breast cancer is a malignant disease affecting both sexes, though it is far more prevalent among women (one in eight will be affected during their lifetime).
According to Pink Caravan, the disease is the second leading cause of cancer deaths after lung cancer, yet it is eminently treatable if discovered early. 9½ out of 10 women treated for early breast cancer will be alive five years later
