Etihad resumes flights, Emirates to follow suit

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Etihad Airways resumed its operations to the storm-hit US with Flight EY101 departing Abu Dhabi for New York on schedule at 10am on Wednesday. Emirates airline, however, cancelled Flight EK203 which was to depart Dubai for New York at 0255 (local Dubai time) and Flight EK204 scheduled to leave New York for Dubai at 1120 (local NY time) on November 1. "Emirates will continue to monitor the situation closely. Passengers are advised to check www.emirates.com for further updates," the spokesperson said. Emirates apologises for any inconvenience caused to its customers. However, the safety of our passengers and crew is of the highest priority and will not be compromised," the spokesperson added.
