(MENAFN - Arab Times) The government of Kuwait has requested the security authorities to arrest three members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Group including a cleric, identified only as G.S., reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting reliable sources.
The trio was reportedly in Kuwait to organize, direct and incite Kuwaitis to take part in the demonstration which was organized by the so-called majority in the annulled 2012 National Assembly. They also allegedly took part in the demonstration which was held under the banner 'Dignity of the Nation'.
The sources pointed out this accusation confirm the increasing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood group and to what extent it has affected the political situation in Kuwait.
The sources also say the members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood movement have been taking part in what it called the field movements in spite of the denial by the movement.
Meanwhile, sources said a delegation of Muslim Brotherhood group from Egypt has decided to postpone the group's visit to the country citing events unfolding on the Kuwaiti political arena at the moment.
Meanwhile, the security sources have ruled out the repetition of a scenario which followed the demonstration organized by the so-called majority group. This came following reports the group is expected to organize yet another sit-in on Nov 4, 2012. However, they will have to abide by the limits of Erada Square which has been imposed by the government.
The sources added, directives have been issued to securitymen not to be negligent or slack in their duty. They have been asked to deal with those who violate the laws and incite others to do so.
In another development, the daily added the GCC security authorities have been coordinating efforts to clamp down on people who incite others through the social networking websites to rebel against the authorities and participate in the demonstrations and marches violating the law.
The security sources have acknowledged there are some people who use the social networking websites to create chaos.
