UAE govt approves 2013 federal budget: Dubai ruler


(MENAFN) The UAE government has Okayed a 2013 federal budget with an estimated expenditure of USD12.1 billion and no deficit, Reuters reported. This was announced by Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. He added that the government is aiming to spend USD36.2 billion over the coming three years on a strategic plan development. The UAE federal budget accounts for only around 11 percent of overall fiscal spending in the country, with individual emirates accounting for the rest.
