UAE- Police gifts to sick children


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A group of Abu Dhabi police played Santa Claus this Eid Al Adha, distributing presents to sick children at the Capital's Shaikh Khalifa Medical City. A delegation from the Information Technology Department of the police visited the hospital, bringing with them good wishes and a healthy stock of wrapped toys to give to the child patients. The team distributed gifts, offered Eid greetings and wished the children good health and recovery. The visit and the presents delighted the children, a spokesman said. The visit is part of the objectives of the Abu Dhabi law-enforcement authority to keep in touch with the members of the society, and boost the concept of interaction with the public in general, and the patients in particular, the police said. The delegation, which comprised Lieutenant Badryiah Al Sa'di, Lieutenant Rawya Al Darmaki, Maryiam Al Mazroui, Ibtisam Mas'abi and Beina Ghanim Al Mahrami, was greeted by hospital general services and hospitality director Samira bin Karam and assistant director Amal Al Qahtani
