(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Hassan Al-Shimmari, upheld the ruling of the First Instance Court which had acquitted a young man of destroying some furniture in his family's house when his father took a second wife.
The father filed a case against his son whom he accused of deliberately causing damages to some items in their house in protest against his decision to have another wife.
Attorney Hashim Al-Alawi, lawyer for the son, asked the higher court to acquit his client due to lack of incriminating evidence.
