(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Iranians who were arrested for entering Saudi territorial waters near Khafji (northeast Saudi Arabia) have nothing to do with terrorist cells either inside or outside the Kingdom, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting Saudi security sources. The sources said the Iranian boat may have been heading for Kuwait and lost way and entered Saudi waters. The spokesman of the Eastern Province Coastguard Colonel Khaled Al-Arqubi in a statement said "Fourteen Iranian sailors were arrested last Thursday attempting to infiltrate into the Kingdom through Al Khafji." He indicated the boat was chased and the Iranians were dropped off on shore. According to preliminary investigations carried out by the security authorities in the eastern region the ages of the arrested persons range between 25 and 48.
