(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Pumping Qatari fuel to restart Gaza's sole power station will start in the next few hours through Karam Abu Salem crossing, the commercial hub between Gaza and Israel, a Palestinian official said on Sunday.
A limited amount of fuel will be pumped through Qatari Solar Industry station, after the arrival of Egyptian trucks in the crossing, the president of coordinating committee in charge of entry of goods in Gaza Raed Fatooh said in a statement.
The Palestinian official added Qatari fuel is being trasnfered through Egyptian trucks which are crossing Al-Ouja Crossing and later Karam Abu Salem Crossing east of Rafah city south of Gaza.
Last Thursday, Egyptian authorities informed the Palestinian side that it will begin pumping Qatari fuel next Sunday, noting that it begin pumping 300, 000 leters.
