(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday held a round of talks with Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on the reform process in Greece.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the European Union summit in Brussels, the two sides also tackled the Greek government's efforts to achieve stability in the national budget and a safe exit from the country's sweeping debt crisis.
Merkel on Thursday called on Greece to implement the austerity measures needed to end the debt crisis, noting that this is the guarantee of Greece's survival in the eurozone.
