(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The technical body tasked with studying development projects and initiatives of the private sector on Sunday invited bidding on management, development, operation and maintenance of Souk Al-Kabir real estate.

The body said in a press statement that floating the project comes pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 7 of 2008 on the build, operate and transfer (B.O.T) and similar systems.

It explained that the launching of bidding of Souq Al-Kabir is the third project to be floated by the state and put for public bidding to the private sector.

It added that Souq Al-Kabir is characterized by its distinguished location in the commercial segment No. 11 in the Qibla area and sits on 11,110 square meters of land area.
