Italy's Maschio Gaspardo establishes USD36m Indian plant


(MENAFN) Italy's Maschio Gaspardo announced that it has established a USD36 million plant in India's Ranjangoan at the country's western state of Maharashtra, reported Xinhua News. The managing director of Maschio Gaspardo India, Alessio Riulini, said that the new factory would help the agricultural machinery maker achieve a turnover that surpasses USD280 million during the current year. Riulini said that the plant, which will produce rotary tillers and supply them to tractor makers Mahindra and Mahindra and New Holland India, would create 120 new jobs, and would raise the number to 250 along with the planned extra investment of USD18 million by 2017. It is worth noting that the Italian company specializes in manufacturing agricultural machinery for tillage, sowing, seeding, landscaping, forage making, sprayers and crop care.
