(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Samsung unveiled Friday its new Galaxy S3 mini phone in a bid to reach consumers looking for practical options.
The 4-inch smartphone, is powered by Jelly Bean the latest version of Google's Android operating system, and runs on a dual-core processor, South Korean news (Yonhap) reported the smartphone manufacturer as saying. The phone is downsized in weight, size and features.
The petite version has a 5-megapixel camera and a life battery of 1500 mill ampere, 600 mill ampere lower than the original version of Galaxy S3. The announcing of the Galaxy S3 mini phone comes as Apple has recently launched its new iPhone 5.
Samsung says the new downsized version of Galaxy S3 has features equivalent to Apple iPhone 5.
