Korea Africa Cooperation Week to Start Monday


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) South Korea has announced that the Korea Africa Cooperation week will kick off in Seoul from on Monday Oct 15th till October 18th. During the cooperation week, Korea Africa Economic Cooperation Conference (KOAFEC) will take place, gathering economic leaders of dozens of African countries to discuss cooperation and joint business opportunities. Also, ministerial talks will be held to achieve "inclusive growth" where they can translate economic growth into creating opportunities for more countries and more underprivileged people, South Korean News agency (Yonhap) said on Thursday. An African Korean forum will be held on Wednesday 17th October as well, where the two sides will review means of refurbishing strategic partnerships in fields of development, commerce, investment, and security. The Seoul 2012 declaration relating to those areas of partnerships will be then adopted. Around 300 African top officials will be participating at the forum.
