Boeing wins USD2b contract from Defense Department


(MENAFN) Boeing Co. announced that it has won a USD2 billion contract from the US Defense Department, reported AP. The company said that the agreement includes the maintenance of the Air Force fleet of 246 C-17 cargo aircraft. It added that the contract spans over a period of 4 years, from 2013 through 2017. It is worth noting that Boeing will also make sure that spare parts are available for the cargo planes.
