Iraq awards USD170m contract to US CH2M Hill


(MENAFN) Iraq's South Oil Co. director, Dhiya Jaafar, stated that the company has awarded a USD170 million contract to US CH2M Hill, reported Reuters. Jaafar said that the US firm will aid the Iraqi side in managing a seawater injection project through offering consultancy. He added that the contract still needs to gain the approval of the Iraqi oil ministry. It is worth noting that South Oil Company will be in charge of the project.
