Iran's exports of processed goods to reach USD340m


(MENAFN) The Islamic Republic is forecasted to export USD340 million worth of processed goods during the current Iranian calendar year, according to an official with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, reported Tehran Times. In the year, around 240 processing industrial units will be revamped through an investment of USD68 million. Alireza Pourbasir said that nearly USD590 million would be used to set up new processing units that would create more than 16,000 jobs. It is worth noting that during the last calendar year, Tehran exported USD265 million worth of processed goods.
