Iran acquires 11 A320, A310 Airbus planes

(MENAFN) Iranian roads and urban development minister, Ali Nikzad, announced that during the current Iranian calendar year, the country has bought 11 Airbus A320 and A310 passenger aircraft, reported Tehran Times. The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran's president, Reza Nakhjavani, stated in April that Iran plans to lift the lifespan of its fleets by 25 percent. Moreover, Tehran will boost the number of planes and replace the older ones with new ones. It is worth noting that Nikzad didn't reveal the amount Iran paid to purchase the 11 Airbus planes.
