UAE, Niger ink MoU


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) inked an air services Memorandum of Understanding in Dubai with the Government of Niger. The MoU was initialed by the Deputy Director General of the UAE GCAA Omar Bin Ghaleb and Director General of Niger Civil Aviation authority Siddo Amadou. The ceremony was also attended by delegates from the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah Department of Civil Aviation, Etihad Airways and Emirates Airlines. Omar Bin Ghaleb emphasized the significance of the MoU as it is expected to enhance business and investment between UAE and Niger. The UAE currently has air services agreements with 150 nations, and out of which 115 are open skies agreements or completely laissez-faire deals.
