(MENAFN - Arab Times) A Bedoun sustained a stab wound on his back after engaging in a fistfight with a GCC national near Sulaibiya Police Station.

Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information on the fight. When they reached the area, the rescuers found the Bedoun sitting on a pavement with blood oozing from his back. He was referred to Jahra Hospital.

Initial investigations revealed the Bedoun had a heated argument with the GCC national until they exchanged blows.

The GCC national allegedly carried a knife which he used to stab the Bedoun and he fled from the scene immediately after the stabbing incident. He was arrested later and referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
