DAMAMAX, a subsidiary of DAMA Ventures and one of the largest backbone operators in the Kingdom providing broadband solutions through optical fiber, participated in the Middle East Network Operators Group's MENOG 11 / RIPE NCC Regional Meeting. Held for the first time in Jordan, MENOG 11 took place between 30th September and 9th October, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman.

DAMAMAX's technical team partook in all of the event's activities including several workshops and meetings. As part of its participation, DAMAMAX sponsored the coffee breaks held during the Regional Meeting, a separate two-day event held under MENOG 11 which took place on 7th and 8th October. The Regional Meeting was attended by DAMAMAX CEO Eng. Mohammad Monir Ghannam as well as the Company's department heads and executive management.

MENOG 11 was attended by a large number of professionals representing telecom operators and IT companies from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Palestine, Oman and Egypt, among others. It featured numerous workshops between 30th September and 4th October, which discussed the latest developments in the telecommunications and information technology sector across the region. The last day of MENOG 11, 9th October, was dedicated to delivering tutorials to the attendees.

MENOG is an established regional forum that annually brings together network operators and technical groups, amongst others, in order to exchange expertise and create networking opportunities.
