(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Qatari Business-women Association announced their partnership with Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012, which will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani at the St Regis Doha Hotel on October 8-9, 2012.
The event is expected to be attended by senior-level executives from more than 100 companies. More than 500 delegates are expected to confirm their attendance, and 46 panelists are scheduled to discuss the latest investment trends, opportunities, partnerships and portfolio diversification strategies, in areas including Islamic finance, infrastructure, knowledge-based development, energy and food security.

The Inside Investor Forum Asia will dedicate a session on women and will include two keynote speeches by Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, who will be accompanied by wives of nine ministers from the Malaysian Cabinet, and Aisha Alfardan â€" Vice Chair of Qatari Businesswomen Association, as well as a panel discussion that will address women empowerment, encouraging philanthropy, and will highlight secrets to success in male-dominated sectors and experiences in the increase in women managers in Asia and the Middle East.
Aisha Alfardan praised the efforts of the organisers to deliver this forum and said: "Qatari Businesswomen Association is proud to be an official partner in the Inside Investor Asia 2012 forum, and pleased to have a special session on women empowerment. We believe reducing gender inequality and improving the status of women contributes to higher rates of economic growth and greater macroeconomic stability."
