Kuwait- Hackers hit Syrian teacher's bank account, KD 600 stolen


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A female Syrian teacher lodged a complaint at Maidan Hawally police station recently accusing unknown Internet hackers of hacking into her bank account and stealing KD 600, reports Al-Shahed daily. Reportedly, when the victim discovered an inexplicable withdrawal of KD 600 from her account, she realized that the hackers obtained her password while she was carrying out some online bank transactions through a website. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the hackers. Meanwhile, a female employee of the Customs Department recently lodged a complaint at Shamiya police station against an unknown individual accusing him of stealing KD 600 from her handbag in Shuwaikh Port, reports Al-Shahed daily. She informed securitymen that she was shocked to find her handbag open and the cash missing when she returned to her office after going to a nearby office to carry out a transaction. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect and retrieve the stolen money.
