(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The UAE Ministry of Environment and Water on Friday issued a ministerial decision to impose a temporary ban on the import of all live birds, domestic, wild and ornamental birds, their products and their offal from Mexico until the change of the epidemiological situation regarding avian influenza.
This decision, which exempted from the ban of poultry meat heat treatment, based on information received from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) on the registration of the hotbeds of disease highly pathogenic bird flu in Mexico.
