(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The delegation will be holding a press conference at the Four Seasons, Riyadh, to reveal the details of what Dubai has to offer its visitors during Eid Al Adha, thus highlighting all the events and promotions and other attractions that visitors can expect.

The press conference will see Ibrahim Saleh, Festivals Coordinator General DEPE; Saleh Al Geziry, Director Overseas Promotions and Inward Mission DTCM; Captain Jasim Ahli of DNRD and Saeed Al Janahi, Head of Emirates Operations in Riyadh address the media and tour operators showcasing their plans to welcome visitors and tourists to Dubai.

While DEPE has prepared a colourful calendar of events as part of their fifth edition of 'Eid in Dubai' celebrations, being organised under the theme of 'United in Celebration', the two-week celebration will include Arabic and international concerts, world class entertainment, shopping promotions, Eidiyat raffle draws, fun activities and much more to entertain visitors during Eid.

DNRD stated that it is taking additional measures to ensure smooth entry to all Dubai visitors across all entry points, in addition to assigning welcome committees at Dubai Airport (Tasaheel) to assist arrivals through speeding up their entry procedures.

During the press conference, Emirates Airline will also reveal a special promotion for all GCC families travelling to Dubai on board its aircrafts during the Eid period, while DTCM will reveal its own agenda of traditional events and activities in line with the overall Eid celebrations.

One of the main highlights of this year's celebrations is that shopping malls will be open for 24 hours during weekends during the two weeks extravaganza.

Ibrahim Saleh said that this tour brings the main stakeholders of the tourism and events sectors in Dubai together under one flag and one aim, inviting GCC families to attend 'Eid in Dubai' celebrations.

"Shaikh Mohammad is always a progressive visionary and his latest directives to extend Eid celebrations and open the malls for public for 24 hours are a perfect example; we are on a GCC tour to capitalise on this vision." Saleh said.
