Sharjah forms panel to supervise economic surveys


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Executive Council of Sharjah on Tuesday decided setting up a supreme committee to supervise comprehensive economic and social surveys concerning citizens residing in the emirate. The supreme committee will have the prerogative to set up sub-committees and designate their terms of references. The Executive Council, at its weekly meeting chaired by Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, also ratified a list of beneficiaries who were allocated plots of land during the three months ending in August. Chairman of Planning and Survey Salah bin Batti Al Muhairi said that a total of 649 plots were allocated during this period for residential, industrial and commercial purposes.
