Central Electricity Generating Company Honors 80 Tawjihi Students


(MENAFNEditorial) Amman, October 2012 - Central Electricity Generating Company (CEGCO) honored 80 of its employees' children who passed the 2012 general secondary Tawjihi examination. The celebratory ceremony took place at CEGCO's headquarters in Amman in the presence of the Company's COO and Deputy Chairman, Francis Gomez, members of its executive management team and the parents of honored students. During the ceremony, Gomez spoke about the importance of organizing informal events that enhance team-spirit at the Company, and the important role of education in paving the way for Jordan's future generations. He also distributed gifts among the honorees in recognition of their academic excellence "This event has become an annual tradition at CEGCO that allows us to share a very important milestone with our employees and their families. On behalf of the Company, I would like to congratulate the students on their achievements and wish them the best of luck as they move onto a new and important chapter in their lives," commented Gomez. On behalf of all parents and students, CEGCO employee Naeem Bazbaz and Tawjihi graduate Hind Mounib thanked the Company for its ongoing support and expressed their appreciation to CEGCO for celebrating such an important turning point.
