Kuwaiti- Drugs, liquor seized


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ahmadi patrol officers arrested four individuals including three Kuwaiti citizens for possession of illicit items during a security campaign that was launched in the area, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Reportedly, a 31-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for possession of six narcotic pills and two bottles of locally brewed liquor. Two Kuwaiti citizens in their 20s were arrested for possession of 12 narcotic pills, some fingers of hashish and 6 cannabis cigarettes while one among the suspects was caught with an unlicensed weapon. The patrol officers apprehended a Srilankan individual, who had run away from his sponsor, with possession of six bottles of locally brewed liquor which he intended to sell. All four suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
