Antares Energy adds Texas oil production


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Antares Energy (ASX: AZZ) has started flowing more than 100 barrels of oil per day from the most recently completed well at its Southern Star project in Howard County, Texas. The company had successfully fracture stimulated the Dagwood-1 well and is currently flowing back fluids used to stimulate the well. Further production is expected to be reported soon with the McCann-2 well flowing back oil after four days of frac fluids recovery while fraccing is being carried out on the Alamo-2 well. Antares has a 50% working interest in these wells and will frac the 100% owned Ray-6 and Debnam 22-1 wells in mid-October and mid-November respectively.
