(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Police on Tuesday said they were able to identify a man whose body was found lying under Abdoun Bridge a day earlier.
The 47-year-old was spotted lying on the street under the bridge at around 3:30pm on Monday.
"We were able to identify the victim and are currently questioning his family about the circumstances of the incident, Public Security Department Spokesperson Lt. Col. Mohammad Khatib said.
Khatib ruled out homicide and said the man either "fell or jumped to his death".
"The government pathology report indicated that the man died as a result of a fall from a high place. We are now trying to determine if the man fell or killed himself," Khatib told The Jordan Times.
In May this year, a 27-year-old man died after falling from the bridge, but the police said homicide was ruled out.
