(MENAFN - Arab News) More than 10,700 pilgrims will come from Tunisia to perform Haj this year, according to the Kingdom's Tunisian Consulate General Fathi Al-Nafati.
He told Arab News in a statement yesterday that the first batch of Tunisian pilgrims would arrive at Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Madinah on October 6, while the second batch would arrive at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah on October 13. "Batches of pilgrims will follow after that," he added.
The consul strongly commended the great efforts being made by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi people to provide consummate services to the guests of God from various parts of the world, describing these services as distinct and outstanding.
"Every year we see new development projects being undertaken by the Saudi government in favor of pilgrims, including expansions of the Two Holy Mosques and development of the Holy Sites," he said.
