Kuwait- 3 officers beat Bedoun


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Three officers working in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are said to have beaten a Bedoun youth working as a company representative for leaving a queue at the Ministries Complex. Sources said the officer in charge of applicants at the Budget Section of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry had taken an application from an Egyptian company representative who declined to join the queue, and another Bedoun representative of a company requested the officer to complete his transaction but the officer answered him in an impolite manner which resulted in an argument between the two. Sources added the officer slapped the Bedoun and they exchanged blows, in the course of which the officer's colleagues also joined in to beat the Bedoun. Bystanders intervened and notified the Operations Room, and a team of rescue officers rushed to the scene to maintain order. The injured Bedoun was then referred to the Amiri Hospital, while police took necessary action against the other participants. Meanwhile, two Arab expatriates engaged in a fist fight at the parking lot in Justice Palace over a parking space. Passersby are said to have intervened and separated the two fighters before security operatives arrived at the scene. The fighters were referred to a police station for investigation.
