Iranian exports of technical, engineering services hit USD4b


(MENAFN) During the last Iranian calendar year, which ended March 19, 2012, the country's exports of technical and engineering services reached USD4 billion, reported Tehran Times. The exports included planning, implementing, repairing and maintenance in various fields to numerous countries. Recently, the country's electricity industry signed an agreement with Indonesia in the field of exporting technical and engineering services with a value of USD46 million. According to an Iranian official, by the end of the current Iranian year, Iran's exports of technical and engineering services will reach USD4.5 billion. It is worth noting that according to the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran for Trade Assistance's Deputy Head, Kioumars Fathollah Kemanshahi, Tehran's exports of technical and engineering services have exceeded USD3 billion in 2009.
