Kuwait- Chopper control fails to end chaos

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ministry of Interior stated a traffic helicopter participated in observing the roads from above to monitor the traffic, as part of the ministry's plans to welcome the new academic year. The ministry explained to KUNA the procedure ensures secure movement of students to their schools, while easing traffic movement to reduce congestion during the peak period, in the morning and afternoon. The Security Media Department and Department of Public Relations and Moral Guidance initiated the media awareness campaign for the new academic year, before the start of school, to warn road users of the condition of the roads at the beginning of the new academic year, and there will be continuous coordination between the police air wing department and other departments to gain more efficiency in the direct communications between air patrol teams and ground operations to resolve traffic congestion. This will ensure a quick response and suitable solutions to traffic jam depending on recorded information.
