(MENAFN) Bahrain's Gulf Air's deputy chief executive officer, Maher AlMusallam, announced that the carrier recommenced its service to Iraq's Al Najaf city, reported Khaleej Times. AlMusallam said that at the current time, the company will launch four flights a week to the city, however, starting December 1, the frequency will be raised to daily flights. He added that the carrier has also started five weekly flights to Baghdad, whereas the service to Erbil will be launched soon, with four weekly flights that would be raised to daily flights starting October 28. Furthermore, 3 weekly flights to Basra will begin on October 29, and will be increased to 4, also from December 1.
