Oman- MEDC to open four more service outlets


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat Electricity Distribution Company's (MEDC) future plans include opening four service outlets across the city, said Manal bint Mohamed al Abdawani, chairperson of MEDC, at the opening of the company's latest centre at Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) on Saturday.''The new outlets will come up at Muscat City Centre, Qurum City Centre, Lulu Hypermarket-Darsait and The Sultan Center in Amerat,'' Manal said. She said that the company provides services to about 220,000 customers in the Muscat governorate with an annual increase of about ten per cent.The MGM?outlet will remain open from 10am to 10pm and offer services like receiving applications for temporary and permanent commercial, residential and industrial connections. Customers will also be able to know status of their accounts and methods of bill payment.H E Sheikh Ibrahim bin Yahya al Rawahi, the Wali of Bausher, said, ''We have asked utility service providers to open more outlets to enable easy access to services in a wilayat like Bausher.''
