(MENAFN) Iran's Lavan Oil Refinery Company's (LORC) Managing Director, Mohammad-Ali Dadvar, announced that the refinery has boosted output of oil derivatives, reported Tehran Times.
Dadvar said that at the current time, the refinery produces 80 tons of natural gas, compared with 30 tons in 2001, whereas daily gasoline output has grown by 100,000 liters now, up from 1.3 million liters par day in 2010.
He added that the refinery produces 3.2 million liters of gas oil per day now, compared with 1.7 million.
By the end of autumn, the refinery will raise daily gasoline output to 2.8 million liters from 1.4 million liters, whereas natural gas output will grow to 220 tons on daily basis from 80 tons.
It is worth noting that Lavan refinery, which is located in the Persian Gulf, ranks eighth among 9 refineries in the country in terms of capacity to refine oil, and produces nearly 5 percent of the country's fuel production.
