(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Sultan's School unveiled its new multi-purpose play area sponsored by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students.Hamed al Wahaibi, co-founder of ‘Safety First', inaugurated the new facility in the presence of students from years three, four, five and six, and also members of the Board of Trustees, alumni and a number of guests. The play area boasts new flooring and accommodates a wide range of physical activities taught at the school.Lama al Samman, PTA president, praised the role of The Sultan's School community. She said, ''Last year the PTA identified the need for a new outdoor play area to benefit students at the school and through generous donations and hard work we are now able to open this new facility. The active role of the PTA has shown that ‘together we are better' and in doing so we create greater opportunities for our children and their future.''Graeme Garrett, principal, The Sultan's School, said, ''My sincere gratitude goes to the PTA. As a result of your generous support, we are delighted to offer a wonderful new game facility to benefit our students at school."The school continues to offer a high calibre variety of physical activities.
