Oman- More than 2,000 people attend Badr al Samaa's free medical camp


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) More than 2,000 people attended a three-day free medical camp, organised by Badr al Samaa Group of Hospitals at its branch in Ruwi. Another three-day free medical camp, organised as part of the group's tenth anniversary celebrations, will begin at its Al Khuwayr branch on Saturday.''The tremendous response generated by the first free medical camp is a clear indication of our outreach among the Omani society. The concept of free medical camp is also part of our vision to put patient and his/her needs first,'' said O K Devassy, group marketing manager, Badr al Samaa Group of Hospitals.He said that organising such a big medical camp is a challenging task. ''We are banking on our 250-member specialists team to make this outreach programme a huge success,'' he added.The free camps will also be held at Badr al Samaa's hospitals in Al Khoudh (September 25-27), Barka (September 29-30), Sohar (October 2-4), Salalah (October 6-8), Sur (October 9-11) and Nizwa (October 12-14).As part of the anniversary celebrations, the group will organise seminars across Oman in the future on topics such as coronary interventions, antibiotics, heart diseases, coping with stress, sleep apnea and clinical approach to thyroid disease.
