(MENAFN- Jordan Times) His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with members of the national football team.
While receiving the team's players and staff, the King commended the result they achieved in the latest game, in which Jordan beat Australia 2-1 and enhanced their opportunities towards qualifying to the 2014 World Cup, according to a Royal Court statement.
At the meeting, also attended by HRH Prince Ali, FIFA vice president representing Asia and president of the Jordan Football Association, the players vowed more hard work to better their performance and strengthen the team's chances to qualify for Brazil 2014.
