(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai Police have arrested three Asians for allegedly stealing a car parked in Hor Al Anz on September 11.
A Pakistani national informed the police that somebody had stolen his Toyota car from where it was parked in the Hor Al Anz area that day. The police issued circulars and launched a search. They received information that someone wanted to sell a car with the same specifications as that of the stolen Toyota. A trap was laid and cops in plain clothes went to meet the seller.
The suspect, accompanied by another person, arrived in a car and met the undercover cops at a restaurant in Hor Al Anz at 9.30pm on September 12. The suspects sensed a trap was laid for them.
They ran away leaving their cars behind, but they and their accomplice, identified as W.A, Z.S and S. M., were arrested later. Z.S confessed that he stole the car when he saw it parked in a sandy area at 2.15am. W.A helped him unlock the car with a key. S.M. said he learnt that the duo had stolen a car and therefore, he offered to help them in finding a buyer for a charge of Dh500.
