Kuwait- Bangladeshi caught for selling recycled state revenue stamps


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested a Bangladeshi man for selling recycled state revenue stamps, reports Al-Shahed daily. The suspect was arrested when official at the General Immigration Department received a transaction submitted by a compatriot and discovered the stamps on the transactions were not genuine. The Bangladeshi said he bought the stamps from a compatriot who was standing beside the stamp vending machine. Police arrested the man and during interrogation he admitted to buying the stamps from an Egyptian woman of KD 5 denomination which he sold for KD 3. He admitted to buying 500 stamps. When police went to the house of the woman they found she had already left the country.
