Jordan- Zarqa market fire extinguished

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel on Sunday put out a fire that broke out in "Al Haramieh market" near Zarqa's Hai Masoum Circle, according to Falah Omoush, head of the Zarqa municipal committee. Several fire engines took part in the efforts to extinguish the fire, which engulfed furniture, loads of timber and textiles that were at the marketplace. Firefighters managed to control the fire within three hours and prevented it from extending outside the seven-dunum market place to a nearby fuel station. The CDD formed an investigative committee to determine the cause of the fire.
