Oman''s oil production drops


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Oman's output of crude and oil condensers for the month of August dropped to 28.6 million barrels compared to 28.8 million barrels that were recorded in July, a monthly report of Oman's Ministry of Oil and Gas showed on Saturday. Daily production of the crude and the oil condensers reached, in August, 922,7 barrels in contrast to 929,6 barrels in July. Oil prices reached USD 94.42, in August, in comparison to USD 106,68 in July, the statistics pointed out. Volume of exported crude, in August, recorded 29.4 million barrels. In July, however, these exports hit 22.4 million barrels. Asian markets have the lion's share of the Omani exports of oil, with China on top. China has imported more than 12 million barrels in August from Oman, followed by Taiwan with 3.9 million barrels. Oman produces more than 940,000 barrels per day.
