UAE sees first domestic codesharing between Etihad, RAK Airways


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways signed a codeshare deal with domestic rival RAK Airways on five flight sectors including, Arabian Business reported. The agreement will see Etihad Airways place its EY code on the RAK Airways flight between Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi. RAK Airways also will place its RT code on Etihad Airways on flights between Abu Dhabi and London Heathrow, Manchester, Dublin, Bangkok and Geneva. RAK Airways operation between Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi will start on October 3, a statement said. Etihad Airways has 37 other codeshare agreements in place with airlines across the world.
