Samsung's Galaxy S III sales reach 20 million since May

(MENAFN) South Korea's Samsung Electronics reported 20 million Galaxy S III sales globally in a little more than three months, AP reported. The company introduced its flagship smartphone powered by Google's Android operating system in Europe in late May, which was about three months ahead of new phone announcement by rivals Apple, Nokia and Motorola. The fast pace sales of the S III are giving Samsung the chance to stay on top of the smartphone market. Samsung and Apple are engaged in legal patents fight around the world. Apple last week added the S III to the "copycat" list in its complaint filed with a US court.
